A large retrospective cohort study involving patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and psoriasis found that those treated with hydroxychloroquine or tumour necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitors had a lower risk of developing diabetes over follow-up compared to other disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD).
