Is there any interaction between L-lysine dietary supplement and lamotrigine?
We searched the NLH Specialist Library for Neurological Conditions, the NLH Complementary and Alternative Specialist Library and the TRIP and Medline databases but found no references to guidelines or studies reporting an interaction between lamotrigine and l-lysine. In addition, we checked the SPC for Lamictal combined tablets and this makes no reference to the dietary supplement l-lysine. (Source: NLH Question Answering Service)
