Boston Children’s Hospital Reports Possible Security Breach
BOSTON (CBS) #8211; Boston Children’s Hospital is reporting a possible security breach after a staff member had a laptop stolen from a conference in Buenos Aires. The hospital says it has notified patients who may have been affected by the potential breach. Hospital officials say a file that had been emailed to the computer contained names, medical record numbers, birth dates, diagnoses, procedures surgery dates for 2159 patients.
