Aegerion adds chief medical officer, will replace director
Aegerion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AEGR) has announced the appointment of a new Chief Medical Officer and a new board member. The Cambridge, Mass.-based biotechnology company also disclosed in a regulatory filing that one of its board directors plans to resign.
Aegerion has tapped former Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) executive, Dr. Mark Sumeray, to take on the role of Chief Medical Officer.
